On May 2, 2011, Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan in an operation conducted by a small group of American military forces and the CIA. The news was announced by US President Barak Obama in the early hours of the
morning.
Osama Bin Laden founder of al Qaida, was responsible for the 9/11 attacks on the United States and numerous other mass casulaty terror attacks against civilian and military targets. Since 2001, Osama bin Laden and his organization had been major targets of the U.S. War on Terror.
Israel continues to stand united with the USA against the war on terror.
